Jay Etheridge
Co-Founder / Minister
Meet Jennifer Etheridge, a devoted wife, mother of two, ParaCrypt Co-founder and passionate homesteader. As a minister, Jennifer is deeply committed to her faith and finds joy in serving others through her ministry work. When she’s not tending to her family or animals, Jennifer loves to explore the great outdoors and share her experiences with others through her content creation. At the heart of Jennifer’s life is her relationship with God, and she believes that centering one’s life around faith is essential. With a conservative perspective that guides her values and decisions, Jennifer strives to live a life that honors her beliefs and inspires those around her.
Born in 1973, Jay Etheridge is a man of steady conviction, quiet strength, and deep curiosity. As co-founder of ParaCrypt Exploring, Jay blends a unique calling as a minister charged by a council of pastors with a lifelong passion for history, homesteading, and the unexplained. His formal education in business accounting sharpened his eye for detail—an asset across every aspect of his work, from biblical study to investigative fieldwork.
Known for being calm under pressure and deeply thoughtful in approach, Jay leads with integrity rather than ego. He doesn’t seek fame or fortune—only a simple, purposeful life where truth is pursued and others are helped. Whether teaching Scripture, tending the homestead, or exploring the paranormal with reverence and care, Jay believes that if even one person finds peace or clarity through his work, every sacrifice has been worth it.
He explores not to impress—but to illuminate.
ParaCrypt Exploring — Our Mission & Story
At ParaCrypt Exploring, we believe in living with purpose, seeking truth, and preserving the past—both seen and unseen.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Jay and Jenn, ParaCrypt is more than a name—it’s a life lived at the crossroads of faith, folklore, family, and the frontier of the unknown. As homesteaders, ministers, historians, and paranormal investigators, we wear many hats—but they all serve one unified mission: to explore what matters, uncover what’s hidden, and share what we find with those who seek the same.

From the quiet rhythms of suburban homesteading to the deep dives into Scripture and biblical history, to the unsettling mysteries of haunted places long forgotten, we live in a world where the physical and spiritual are deeply connected. Whether we’re planting heirloom seeds, preaching from Genesis, or chasing shadows in an abandoned jail, our work is about truth, legacy, and the spiritual journey we’re all on.

Through our three interconnected projects:
- Suburban Homestead Gen X — We teach practical, sustainable living in small spaces with grit, humor, and Gen X realism. It’s about being prepared, not paranoid. Grounded, not off-grid.
- The Remnant Teachings — A back-to-the-Word Bible study series that digs deep into Scripture’s original context, ancient languages, and prophetic meaning—connecting God’s plan from Genesis to today.
- ParaCrypt Exploring — Our investigation team documents and discerns paranormal phenomena with a spirit of reverence, clarity, and compassion—always helping families without charge, and sharing what we find with honesty and humility.
We don’t claim to have all the answers—but we’ve committed our lives to ask the right questions, listen closely, and walk boldly where others won’t.
We are ParaCrypt. And we explore it all—faith, homestead, history, and the unexplained.
